History and Presentation:

The Source was established in 1996 in Bangladesh with a focus on developing and exporting handcrafted decorative items.

 

Through its own entrepreneurial vision, it has managed to generate export advances to Japan, the Middle East, Europe, Canada and the United States.

 

The Source has over 33 product lines including:

 

- Baskets in many materials and combinations.

- Jute and cotton bags, both plain and screen printed.

- Christmas and sales promotion items.

- Hammocks/swings.

- Nautical decor.

- Jute door and floor mats.

- Plant hangers and garden accessories.

- Cotton net with floats for decoration.

- Macrame bags/nets/tapestries/door curtains.

- Candles in many shapes.

- and more!

 

The Source currently works with hundreds of skilled and semi-skilled workers and craftswomen to produce various items in different locations in Bangladesh, which are then grouped for export.

 

The Source is actively participating internationally in fairs such as Ambiente or Tendence, gift and homeware fairs in Tokyo, the 69th Levante Bari Fair in Italy, Hong Kong homeware fairs and Mega Show 1 and 2, along with active international visits to the markets of France, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore and India.

 

The Source has begun a process of certifications for national and international standards with a view to expanding during 2025 for the development of new markets.

 

It is also important to note that The Source products are mostly made by female artisans from Bangladesh, thus generating a process of local support.

It is important to note that the majority of all products are handmade by female artisans from Bangladesh.

Some of our interior decoration and marine decoration products are made with various raw materials, such as jute, rope, biodegradable and natural products.

 

All lines and products have multiple colors, sizes and presentations.

 

Also, at the buyer's request, custom products can be generated.

Wallets, Handbags & Gifts:

The Source - actively collaborating with artisans and women from different regions of Bangladesh - has managed to make and export lines of handbags, planners, document holders, among others, made with natural products and also with the option of customization for private brands.
